How to generate a barcode
- Type the value to encode, such as a product, serial or stock number. For bulk labels, enter several values, one per line.
- Pick the format that matches your use: CODE128 or CODE39 for general labels, EAN and UPC for retail, ITF14 for shipping cartons, Codabar or MSI for warehouse and library labels, Pharmacode for pharma packaging.

FAQs
Which barcode format should I use?
CODE128 is the most flexible and works well for mixed letters and numbers. Use EAN13, EAN8, UPC-A or UPC-E for retail products, ITF14 or ITF for shipping and logistics, MSI and Codabar for warehouse, library and inventory labels, and Pharmacode for pharmaceutical packaging.
Why does my EAN or UPC code fail?
Those formats only accept digits of a fixed length: 13 for EAN13, 8 for EAN8, 12 for UPC-A, 8 for UPC-E and 14 for ITF14. Invalid lines are skipped in bulk mode, so check the number of digits in the line that was left out.
Can I print the generated barcode?
Yes. Pick the 2x or 3x PNG resolution before downloading, or take the SVG for any print size, and print at 100% scale without resizing so the barcode stays sharp and scannable.
Can I add my own logo to the barcode?
Yes. Upload a logo image and choose whether it sits above, left or right of the code. It is merged into the PNG on the background color; the SVG export stays clean for professional label printing.
Can I generate many barcodes at once?
Yes. Enter one value per line and every valid line is rendered below with its own download button. Lines that do not match the selected format are skipped and counted in the status message.

Tips and Limits
Barcode formats have strict constraints: EAN-13 needs 13 digits, EAN-8 needs 8, UPC-A needs 12, UPC-E needs 8 and ITF14 needs 14, while CODE128 and CODE39 accept letters and numbers; use the 2x or 3x PNG resolution (or SVG) and print at 100% scale to keep the code scannable, and keep logos beside or above the bars - a graphic inside the bars usually breaks scanning.
