What does the error correction level mean?
Higher levels like Q or H let the code survive dirt, damage or partial covering, but they make the pattern denser. Medium (M) is a good default for most uses.

Tips and Limits
A QR code holds up to roughly 2,953 bytes of data (numeric and alphanumeric content fits more), and a higher error correction level like Q or H survives more damage but leaves less room for your content. When you add a logo, choose level H, and download the PNG at 2x or 3x for crisp printing.
